ZKS

The Zeitschrift für Kanada-Studien (ZKS) is the journal of the Gesellschaft für Kanada-Studien/Association for Canadian Studies. It was founded in 1981 and appears semi-annually. In accordance with Canadian Studies, it follows an inter- and multidisciplinary approach and adheres to a trilingual conception (German, English, French).

The journal aims at mirroring the Canadian Studies research in German-speaking countries and beyond by publishing particularly innovative and academically inspiring texts (articles, essays) and by calling attention to noteworthy results of research through reviews of recent publications.

The journal is part of a world-wide network of scholarly journals in the field of Canadian Studies. Since 2005 the contributions to be published have been peer reviewed anonymously, which corresponds to the international standards of first-class periodicals.

The ZKS is currently edited by Caroline Rosenthal (Jena), Martin Thunert (Frankfurt), Doris G. Eibl (Innsbruck).

The journal is published by Wißner in Augsburg and is also available online.
