ZKS: Beiträge zu Pandemien und dem Umgang damit
Die andauernde Pandemie hat – was das Format und die Inhalte angeht – die diesjährige Jahrestagung unserer Gesellschaft geprägt. Die Zeitschrift für Kanada-Studien schreibt daher für die nächste Ausgabe (2022) einen Schwerpunkt aus, im Rahmen dessen Pandemien bzw. der sprachliche, politische, historische und kulturelle Umgang mit ihnen und ihren Auswirkungen in Kanada disziplinär breit thematisiert und diskutiert werden sollen.
Willkommen sind sowohl Aufsätze (40-50.000 Zeichen) als auch Forumsbeiträge (30.000 Zeichen) auf Französisch, Englisch oder Deutsch. Alle Einreichungen werden in einem Peer Review Verfahren begutachtet; um Einreichungen bis zum 1. Juli wird daher gebeten.

ZKS: Pandémies
Cette année, la pandémie en cours a profondément marqué le colloque annuel de la GKS, tant au niveau de son format que de son contenu. Pour répondre à la situation actuelle, la Revue d’études canadiennes (Zeitschrift für Kanada-Studien) souhaite consacrer son prochain numéro (2022) à la thématisation et à la discussion interdisciplinaire des pandémies (études linguistiques, littéraires, politiques, historiques et culturelles) et de leur
impact au Canada.
Des articles (40.000-50.000 caractères) ainsi que des contributions au forum (30.000 caractères) seront les bienvenus. Chaque contribution sera soumise à un examen par les pairs. Nous vous prions de
soumettre votre contribution avant le 15 juillet 2021.

In light of the current situation, the Journal of Canadian Studies (ZKS) announces a focus section for our volume 2022, centering on how pandemics and their effect are addressed historically, culturally, politically, and linguistically in the Canadian context. We welcome article submissions (40-50.000 characters) or contributions to the forum (30.000 characters) from all disciplines in French, English, or German by July 15, 2021. All submissions will be peer-reviewed.

In addition to contributions to the focus section on pandemics, ZKS continues to accept submission in any other field of Canadian Studies for its 2022 volume.
