La bourse de mobilité Jean-Cléo-Godin (CRILCQ – AIÉQ) permet aux enseignants·tes du post­se­condaire de l’extérieur du Québec de venir au CRILCQ pour y poursuivre des recherches et profiter de l’ensemble des activités (séminaires, colloques, conférences, etc.) afin de préparer un nouveau cours portant en tout ou en partie sur la littérature et la culture québécoises.

Tout·e enseignant·e de niveau postsecondaire est admissible à l’exception des professeurs·res titulaires d’un poste ou d’une chaire dans une université.

Cette bourse d’une valeur de 7 000 $ doit servir à couvrir les frais d’un séjour au Québec de trois mois.

Le séjour doit être effectué au cours de l’année universitaire suivant l’obtention de la bourse. Le·la candidat·e choisi·e sera appelé·e à participer activement aux activités et aux événements du CRILCQ, et sera sous la supervision d’un·e membre régulier·lière du CRILCQ.

Pour participer vous devez :

• être membre de l’AIÉQ;
• être un·e enseignant·e de niveau postsecondaire;
• vous engager à effectuer un séjour au Québec de trois mois;
• vous engager à vous tenir informer et à suivre les règles d’immigration Canada.

Présentation du dossier de candidature : 

Le dossier de candidature doit comprendre les documents suivants :

• une lettre de présentation justifiant la pertinence d’un séjour au CRILCQ (maximum de 2 pages);
• un curriculum vitæ abrégé;
• une description du projet de recherche (maximum de 1 page) et des séances d’enseignement envisagées (maximum de 1 page);
• une preuve d’attribution du cours au·à la candidat·e et de son inscrip­tion dans l’offre de cours d’un établissement postsecondaire reconnu à l’extérieur du Québec.

La bourse est offerte pour une durée de trois mois.

Im Rahmen der Kooperationsvereinbarung zwischen Bayern und Québec werden für das Jahr 2022 zwei Stipendien à 2500,– Euro zur Förderung von Québec-Studien angeboten.

Vergaberichtlinien:

• Personenkreis: Studierende aller Fachrichtungen, die an einer bayerischen Universität oder Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften immatrikuliert sind und ihre Zulassungsarbeit, Master-, Bachelor- oder Diplomarbeit über ein Thema schreiben, das inhaltlich oder methodisch einen wesentlichen Bezug zu Québec aufweist.
• Aufenthaltsdauer: 4 – 6 Wochen
• Die Studierenden, die ein Stipendium erhalten, verpflichten sich, der Bayerischen Staatskanzlei als Nachweis ein Exemplar der abgeschlossenen Arbeit zur Verfügung zu stellen.
• Die Auswahl unter den Bewerbungen trifft eine Kommission aus Vertretern des Instituts für Kanada-Studien an der Universität Augsburg, der Wissenschaftlichen Koordinierungsstelle Bayern-Québec und der Bayerischen Staatskanzlei.

The Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies invites applications for the 2022 – 2023

Robarts Visiting Professorship at York University (Toronto, Ontario).* The

Professorship is open to full – time (tenured or tenure – track) faculty members who work on issues concerning Canada and who are based outside the country, are planning to go on sabbatical or other leave during 2022 – 2023 and have demonstrated scholarly expertise on Canada and a commitment to Canadian studies. The Professorship will provide the selected faculty member with $2500 CAD in funding to cover travel and accommodations costs while in residence.** Visitors will also be offered office space in the Centre for the duration of the visit, and they will have access to York Libraries. The Archives of Ontario and the Clara Thomas Archives and Special Collections are al so located on campus, and the Environment Canada Library is nearby.

*The residency of the selected candidate and access to York University campuses will be partly determined and potentially limited by ongoing public health measures.

**PLEASE NOTE Visitors will be reimbursed for travel and accommodation related expenses incurred, up to $2500 CAD, upon completion of the visit, in accordance with York University travel reimbursement policy.

1. A current CV;
2. A statement of the research project and how residency at the Robarts Centre will facilitate this project (maximum 500 words) and your preference for timing;
3. A short statement on how the residency will be used to foster research collaborations at York and support the Centre activities;
4. A letter of support from a current full – time professor at York. This faculty member must also be a faculty associate of the Robarts Centre; and
5. A letter of support from the candidate’s departmental Chair or Dean.

Bridgewater State University is seeking a Canadian scholar or person of prominence to spend one or two semesters in residence at the University and be appointed Killam Visiting Professor of Canadian Studies during that period. The appointment may be made in any discipline.

This endowed professorship was established to infuse new and exciting Canadian content into the University curricula in areas of importance; elevate the understanding of Canadian issues and culture in the Southeastern Massachusetts region; provide opportunities for interaction between students at the University and a person with expertise and stature on Canadian issues; and provide opportunities for collaboration between Bridgewater faculty and Canadian scholars.

The Killam Visiting Professor will be expected to teach one course per semester at Bridgewater State University, make presentations to the University community and local organizations as appropriate, and participate in research in collaboration with Bridgewater faculty and/or students as appropriate. The term of appointment will normally be one semester, but two semesters may be arranged by mutual agreement between the University and the awardee. The stipend for the professorship is normally $40,000 USD.

Applications will be accepted through January 31, 2022. Faculty on sabbatical leave, emeritus professors, postdoctoral scholars and others are all welcome to apply.

Selection will be based on applicants’ stature in the field of Canadian Studies, campus intellectual needs, timeliness of the person’s expertise, and overall benefits to Bridgewater students and faculty and the region.
