NeMLA is turning 50! The theme of the 2019 convention is Transnational Spaces: Intersections of Cultures, Languages, and Peoples. It aims to challenge traditional notions of history, territory, and identity and to recognize the complex processes of trans-culturation that have charaterized modernity.
